N. Kunaseelan
N. Kunaseelan retired from Civil Service after serving 42 years in 2020 holding the position of special officer (in charge of modernizing labour laws) to the then Minister of Human Resources. While working with the Ministry of Human Resources he had the experience of drafting labour laws on behalf of the Ministry which has been successfully passed in Parliament. He was also posted to India as a Labour Attaché and worked as an advisor with Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA).
He read law as an external student of University of London and graduated with Honours in 1993. He completed the Certificate of Legal Practice in 1997 and was called to the Bar in 2020. He joined Jeeva Partnership as a Senior Associate in 2021 and currently supports our dispute resolution and advisory team particularly in Labour and Employment Law disputes. Kuna is also familiar with labour audits and drafting of Agreements. Kuna often conducts training in Employment and Industrial Relations topics.
