Dato’ Shamesh holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from University of London and is a certified arbitrator. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar more than a decade ago.
His professional affiliation includes being a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Malaysia, International Trademark Association (INTA), ASEAN Intellectual Property Association (AIPA) and Malaysian Intellectual Property Association (MIPA).
Dato’ Shamesh’s practice has a corporate and civil litigation flavour specializing in areas among others, Intellectual Property, E-Commerce, Information technology, Defamation, Minority Shareholders Rights, Supply Chain, Logistics, Injunctions and Construction Law. He is an active litigator and a trademark marks agent. He has represented various multinationals from many sectors for example manufacturing, logistics, airfreight, cosmetics, food & beverages.
As he is currently a President of the Home Buyers Tribunal a Dispute Resolution platform established by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, he is very familiar with laws relating and connected to the Housing Development Act.
He currently serves as a member of the Intellectual Property and Admiralty and Shipping Committee of the Bar Council.
